Know it sounds obscene. And I don't often dream. Well there I was
floating over an ocean, beneath a sky of infinite misery.
Spent a year in reverse, felt life as more of a curse.
Into the void and back, it got so heavy.
My dream, in the mirror, paned reality.
So I take a walk to clear my head, but i don't get too far...
before i realize i'm looking for "her" then i'm back at the bar.
Was it really written in the stars, or just a question of heart?
Had a feeling worth holding on to, but its fallen apart.
brings to mind the night i realized that i was loneliest lying beside you...
and i won't ever get the things that you do.
Made a promise, but I was broken in two.
